The similarity of those war images on TV to images we are all familiar with from World War II was unmistakable, and inspired this reminiscence of those "never again" days and their connection with this horrifying reappearance at the end of the last century. The title refers both to that and to every announcer’s catch phrase preceding a commercial as "We’ll Be Right Back" contrasts World War II documentary material with World War II era radio commercials."We’ll Be Right Back" is a provocative clash of epic history and the trivia that accompanied it, reminding us that such clashes of ironic simultaneity are forever with us.
