The Altimont concert brings the era of peace and love to a disastrous conclusion as the Hell’s Angels security beats up hippies in front of the stage, one of whom is shot to death as the Rolling Stones played. Music and commentary on the day’s events from participating bands, and lots more music from ’69 as the Beatles and their Apple label stumble towards breakup.
