It’s still 1975 as we hop through some DJ air checks, a 1975 episode of “Another UFO” about the Travis Walton abduction of that year, with some unusual phone calls by local residents and Walton’s relatives in which they describe the events as they are coming to light at the time.
International weapons sales are covered by Robert Calvert, and the proliferation of atomic power continues with some cold war ICBM launch control training.

As 1975 begins, CB radio enters our radio landscape, first among the cross country truckers and stretching all the way to England. Also featured is “Another UFO” for ’75, with a review of UFO activity in ’74 and then some sightings in the northwest. “The Big Broadcast Of ‘75” (WBZ, Boston) jumps on the nostalgia craze with their revival of old radio, interspersed with Albert Brooks’ attempt at his own “old radio” show, as well as “The Last Big Picture” from the Credibility Gap. Music and DJs from ’75.
